To B-Air: Art Infinity Radio – creating music for babies, toddlers and vulnerable groups είναι ένα 3ετές (2021-23) ευρωπαϊκό εγχείρημα πολιτιστικής συνεργασίας για την έρευνα και την παρεμβατική καλλιτεχνική δημιουργία στη μουσική, την τέχνη του ήχου και το ραδιόφωνο, που απευθύνεται κυρίως σε ευάλωτες ή κοινωνικά αποκλεισμένες ομάδες.
Στο πρόγραμμα, με το TWIXTlab συνεργάζονται η Σχολή Αρχιτεκτονικής της Grenoble και το τμήμα ακουστικής έρευνας CRESSON, το Πανεπιστήμιο Ανατολικής Φινλανδίας, το Διεθνές Παν/μιο Burch στο Σαράγιεβο, ο καλλιτεχνικός/θεατρικός οργανισμός RADIOTEATAR από την Κροατία, το Ινστιτούτο Jozef Stefan (Σλοβενία), το BazaART (Σερβία) και η Δημόσια Ραδιοτηλεόραση της Σερβίας, σε συντονισμό του Ινστιτούτου Ραδιοφωνίας και Τηλεόρασης της Σλοβενίας.
Στο πλαίσιο του B-Air, η κεντρική συμβολή μας έχει τίτλο Audibility(=ακουστότητα) και αφορά την τέχνη του ήχου και τη μουσική μέσα από την εμπειρία της κώφωσης, με ένα πρόγραμμα δημιουργικών συναντήσεων μεταξύ καλλιτεχνών, μαθητών κι εκπαιδευτικών σε Σχολεία Κωφών και Βαρήκοων. Το εγχείρημα περιλαμβάνει την ανάπυξη ενός δικτύου συνεργασίας μεταξύ ενδιαφερόμενων προσώπων και φορέων που θα συνδράμει στο πρόγραμμα καλλιτεχνικής εκπαίδευσης σε εργαλεία της τέχνης του ήχου και της μουσικής σε Σχολεία Κωφών και Βαρήκοων. Πρόσθετα, προωθεί την καλλιτεχνική παραγωγή που θα πληροφορείται από πολυαισθητηριακές γενεαλογίες, με εργαλεία τον ήχο πέρα από την ακρόαση, τεχνολογικές εφαρμογές και εννοιολογικές προσεγγίσεις που στοχεύουν στην ευαισθητοποίηση και την αποδόμηση του “φυσικοποιημένου” αποκλεισμού Κωφών και βαρήκοων ατόμων από αυτές τις πολιτισμικές εκφράσεις.

O Παναγιώτης Πανόπουλος συμβάλλει με την εμπειρία του στο πεδίο ως επιστημονικός σύμβουλος. Στο συντονισμό του εκπαιδευτικού σκέλους βρίσκεται η Ντάνα Παπαχρήστου. Και τη δικτύωση με φορείς, ιδρύματα και ιδιώτες της κοινότητας Κωφών, κωφών και βαρήκοων στην Ελλάδα ανέλαβε η Ουρανία Αναστασιάδου.
Το πρόγραμμα λαμβάνει χώρα με τη συγχρηματοδότηση του προγράμματος “Δημιουργική Ευρώπη” της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης. Γιατον πρώτο χρόνο των δράσεων υποστηρίζεται οικονομικά από το Υπουργείο Πολιτισμού και Αθλητισμού.
For B-Air, TWIXTlab is collaborating with BAZAART (RS), Ecole d’Architecture de Grenoble (FR), Institut Jožef Stefan (SI), ITA-Suomen Yliopisto (FI), Javna medijska ustanova Radio – televizija Srbije (RS), Radioteatar Bajsic i prijatelji (HR), Visokoskolska ustanova internacionalni burc univerzitet-International Burch University (BA), coordinatied by the Slovenian Public Institute of Radiotelevision (SI).
In the B-Air context, TWIXTlab’s key contribution is titled Audibility, and is concerned with sound art and music through the experience of the Deaf, the deaf and the hard of hearing, through a programme of creative encounters between artists, schoolchildren and educators in Special Schools for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Athens, Greece. Within the project, a network of collaborating artists, institutions and other individuals will be developed, for the facilitation of the art education programme. Further, the project fosters artistic production in line with multisensory and cross-field artistic genealogies, informed by the notion of sound beyond hearing, technological applications and conceptual perspectives, that will aim to raise awareness and deconstruct the “naturalized” exclusion of the Deaf and the hard of hearing from the respective cultural manifestations.

Β-Αir: Art Infinity Radio @CRESSON Winterschool, 18-22/1/2021
To ΤWIXTlab συμμετείχε στο πρόγραμμα B-Air: Art Infinity Radio, που εγκαινιάζει τις δημόσιες δραστηριότητές του στο 9ο Χειμερινό Σχολείο της CRESSON – ENSAG.
To Χειμερινό Σχολείο διοργανώνεται από τη Σχολή Αρχιτεκτονικής της Grenoble και αυτή τη χρονιά σε συνεργασία με τη Τμήμα Αρχιτεκτονικής του Βόλου, Παν/μιο Θεσσαλίας, από τη Δευτέρα 18 Ιανουαρίου ως και την Παρασκευή 22 Ιανουαρίου, 2021.
Το Χειμερινό Σχολείο ξεκίνησε τη λειτουργία του τον Ιανουάριο του 2013 ως μια εντατική εβδομάδα διατομεακών συζητήσεων, πρακτικής ενασχόλησης και πειραματισμού, με αντικείμενο το ηχητικό περιβάλλον. Στη φετινή, 9η έκδοσή του, που θα διαξαχθεί διαδικτυακά, η θεματική είναι “ευαλωτότητες και ήχοι – η εμπειρία της ακρόασης”.

Οι επιστημονικοί μας συνεργάτες Ντάνα Παπαχρήστου και Πάνος Πανόπουλος, καθώς και o Γιώργος Σαμαντάς ως συντονιστής από την πλευρά του TWIXTlab, συμμετήχαν στη σειρά των πρωινών σεμιναρίων, προσεγγίζοντας και συζητώντας για τον ήχο πέρα από την ακρόαση. Οι Nτ. Παπαχρήστου και Γ.Σαμαντάς συντόνισαν επίσης τα απογευματινά εργαστήρια ηχητικών περιπάτων μέσω τεχνολογιών διεντοπισμού, μέσω της ψηφιακής πλατφόρμας Echoes.xyz.

TWIXTlab participated in B-Air: Art Infinity Radio programme, that inaugurates its public activities with the 9th Winterschool CRESSON – ENSAG. The Winterschool is organised by Cresson at the Grenoble National School of Architecture, this year in collaboration with the Department of Architecture, University of Thessaly, Volos, 18-22/1/2021.
The CRESSON Winterschool started in 2013, as an intensive week of discussions, practice and experimentation with the sonic environment. In this year’s 9th edition, its main theme is “vulnerabilities and sounds, the experience of listening”.

For TWIXTlab‘s part, our scientific collaborators Dana Papachristou and Panayotis Panopoulos, with Yorgos Samantas as a coordinator participated in the morning seminar sessions, approaching and discussing sound beyond hearing.
