Rafael Ramirez, 1983, Cuba. Filmmaker, writer, musician. Bachelor Degree in Audiovisual Communication by the University of the Arts, Havana, Cuba. Graduated in documentary filmmaking at EICTV (San Antonio de los Baños International Film School). Focus on microhistory, heteronyms, translation and dystopian cartographies, his works has been exhibited at Locarno IFF, Mar del Plata IFF, DocumentaMadrid, Clermont-Ferrand, Frames of Representation, FIC Valdivia, FestCurtas, and Curacao IFF Rotterdam among other festivals. Co-creator of Mundus Subterraneus, a mediumnic society for the design of alternate universes.
